The AC was powerful and easy to control with the wall thermostat. Most critical however was the sleeping room. The dinner buffet was nice for the money. Important to us : the cocktail hostesses were efficient and sometimes nice looking. Staff at the front + cleaning our rooms + at the dinner buffet were rather positive if not reasonably professional. Parking was free and the property represented a 'Vegas Casino vibe' without the high cost of being on the strip. Comparatively speaking we felt the Orleans was reasonably close to the Star Trek convention (1.2 miles away) with the highest rating at a fairly low cost. Thursday and Friday night and had a good visit.
